Partners in Energy

The City of Fridley has teamed up with Xcel Energy as a Partner in Energy. This two-year long program is designed to help Fridley identify energy objectives, develop an energy action plan, and implement strategies to reduce the city's energy use. The City and its Energy Action Team comprised of residents, businesses, and institutions is currently in a six-month planning phase (April-October) to identify our community-driven goals. Energy Conservation at Home

  • Perform a blower door test to measure your home for air leaks.
  • Complete an insulation inspection.
  • Perform safety checks on your heating system and water heater.
