Beginning T'ai Chi Chih


This art consists of soft, simple movements that naturally circulate and balance the intrinsic energy, or Chi, through 19 moves and 1 pose. Benefits of T'ai Chi Chih include mindfulness, joy, increased energy, improvement of balance, decreased anxiety and more. Classes held in the Fridley Community Center lower level.

Jeet Kune Do Fusion


Jeet Kune Do Fusion takes the best tactics of Hapkido along with core principles of Jeet Kune Do (the art developed by Bruce Lee himself) and fuses them together creating an exciting self-defense program designed specifically for adults. Good for men and women of all shapes and sizes. No athletic abilities required. Here's a program where you can learn valuable self-protection skills while having a good time and even work your way towards a Black Belt! There will be optional fees payable to the instructor for rank advancement and uniforms.

Yoga Mindfulness


Come explore this ancient exercise system that strengthens the body while calming and focusing the mind. Learn how to take these basic exercises into your daily life to strengthen and tone your body, improve circulation, lower blood pressure, and help relieve stress.
Dress in comfortable clothes and bring a mat, towel or rug for floor work. Classes held in room 114 and/or 116 at the Fridley Community Center

Kettlebell / Bodyweight Class


Looking to shed a few pounds? Just a few minutes of a bodyweight circuit training can have a major impact on your body's metabolism. This class combines cardio and strengthening into one quick workout. *Must know proper technique for the Kettlebell Swing - this will be taught week one.
