The Moore Lake Community Building is available for rental use daily. There are three rental options to choose from (subject to calendar availability). Full Day (8 a.m.- 9 p.m.). Half Day A.M. (8 a.m.- 2 p.m.). Half Day P.M. (3 p.m.-9 p.m.). Reservations must be made a minimum of two weeks in advance and are accepted up to 6 months in advance. The building is closed the following holidays: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day. Holiday availability may be subject to change.
The community building is located within Moore Lake Park at 5890 Central Avenue NE.
Amenities

- Alcoholic beverages are NOT permitted.
- Centerpieces/tabletop or freestanding decorations ONLY.
No items may be adhered or affixed to the windows, doors, walls, columns or ceilings (push pins, tape, nails, putty, other fasteners/adhesives are NOT allowed).
- Helium balloons, glitter, confetti, and pinatas are NOT allowed. No open flames/candles.
- All Set-Up and Clean Up must occur during the specified rental period. Renters and caterers are only allowed access during the specified rental period.
- Audio-Visual system, including presentation screen, included with rental.
- Indoor restroom included with rental.
- Kitchenette on site (small refrigerator, microwave, running water, electricity and counter space).
- Caterers must be licensed in Anoka County and provide their own linens, serving items and tableware items.
- Small south patio included with rental (pictured below). Rental does not include exclusive access to the open-air portion of the building. This area will remain open to the public at all times and is non-reservable.
- Bounce houses are not allowed indoors or outdoors in our parks.
Note: The City of Fridley prohibits the use of alcohol, tobacco and cannabis products (including smoking, vaping, chewing tobacco and edibles) in all parks. No bounce houses are permitted. No shade tents or additional structures may be staked in lawn.
How Do I Rent the Moore Lake Building?
Reservations can be made online. Reservations must be made a minimum of two weeks in advance and are accepted up to 6 months in advance.

Dates that appear blank are unavailable for rent.

Rental Fees
There is a $200 refundable damage deposit added to every rental. An optional building monitor is available for an additional $25 per hour, with a two-hour minimum.
Monday-Thursday, Friday Morning
- Half Day (8 a.m. - 2 p.m. or 3-9 p.m.)
- Resident and Non-profit - $150 + refundable $200 security deposit
- Non-Resident- $225 + refundable $200 security deposit
- Full Day (8 a.m. - 9 p.m.)
- Resident and Non-profit - $225 + refundable $200 security deposit
- Non-Resident - $337.50 + refundable $200 security deposit
Friday Evening, Saturday-Sunday
- Half Day (8 a.m. - 2 p.m. or 3-9 p.m.)
- Resident and Non-profit - $250 + refundable $200 security deposit
- Non-Resident- $400 + refundable $200 security deposit
- Full Day (8 a.m. - 9 p.m.)
- Resident and Non-profit - $375 + refundable $200 security deposit
- Non-Resident - $600 + refundable $200 security deposit
Building Monitor
An optional building monitor is available for an additional $25 per hour for your rental of the Moore Lake Community Building. This staff member can assist in opening and closing the facility, setting up tables and chairs, greeting guests and operating the Audio-Visual system. The building monitor can be scheduled for a minimum of two hours of time and can be present for a portion of your rental if assistance is not required for the entire event.
Cancellation Policy
- More than 30 days prior to rental date, receive a 100 percent refund
- 14-30 days prior to rental date, receive a 50 percent refund
- Less than 14 days prior to rental date, receive no refund
- No refunds are given due to weather conditions unless the park or facility is officially closed due to severe weather conditions.
