2026 Sanitary Sewer Collection Lining Project

Trenchless rehabilitation of sanitary sewer including televising, cleaning, inspecting, traffic control, cured-in-place (CIPP) installation, and other work.

57th Avenue – Northtown Yard Overpass Bridge Project

The 57th Avenue – Northtown Yard Overpass Bridge Project includes the construction of a new multimodal bridge extending 57th Avenue from Main Street west to East River Road over the BNSF Northtown Yard. The project also includes the construction of a roundabout at the intersection of 57th Avenue and Main Street at the bridge’s eastern approach.

73rd Avenue Corridor Study Project

The City of Fridley is currently working on a corridor study for 73rd Avenue from University Avenue to Central Avenue prior to the future street rehabilitation project slated for construction in 2026.

85th Avenue Trail Rehabilitation Project

Repairs to pedestrian timber bridges along 85th Avenue trail between East River Road and University Avenue (TH 47)

Annual Street Maintenance Project

The City of Fridley’s 2024 Annual Street Maintenance Project will include 2 miles of crack sealing and 0.7 mile of seal coating.

Apex Lift Station Improvements Project

This project includes timely upgrades of the Apex Lift Station that was originally constructed in 1959. The existing station is a dry and wet well configuration with electrical and controls housed in adjacent cabinets. The new Apex Lift Station will be placed next to the existing lift station, and a new prefabricated building will house valves, controls, electrical componentry, and generator.
