Fridley 49er Days – New Dates Announced!

We’re excited to share that the Fridley 49er Days Festival has been moved from June to July. The new dates for 2026 are July 16–18 — mark your calendars!

The 2026 event will kick off with the Fridley Lions Parade on Thursday, and on Saturday, we’ll host the Commons Park Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony and Grand Opening event — a celebration you won’t want to miss!

We’re already gearing up for an exciting weekend filled with community spirit, parks, arts, and fun — and we’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help shape this year’s event. If you’re interested in joining the planning committee or lending a hand, we’d love to have you on board! Submit a volunteer interest form to get involved.

The committee is still finalizing the full schedule, so stay tuned for more details coming soon. Let’s make this year’s festival the best one yet!

Fridley ’49er Days is organized by a non-profit group of volunteers. It takes many helping hands to host a community festival. If you are interested in volunteering, please submit a volunteer interest form.

Looking for a promotional opportunity your business? Want to give back to the community? The Fridley '49er Committee raises money each year to put on this annual festival. Sponsorship allows the activities to be FREE for the public, providing an inclusive event where all in the community can gather and celebrate. Contact the committee to become a sponsor.

Fridley Lions '49er Parade

The parade route starts at the corner of 61st Avenue and 7th Street on Thursday, July 16 at 6:30 p.m.

We are now accepting parade entry applications on a first come, first serve basis. The deadline to submit an application to enter the parade is July 1, 2026 and limited to 100 units. View the parade entry forms.
