Fridley Serves: Neal Hayford’s Story

Neal Hayford has been volunteering at Springbrook Nature Center for more than 30 years. From filling bird feeders and picking up litter, to planning events and interacting with visitors, when you visit Springbrook, there’s a good chance you’ll spot Neal hiking on a trail or engaged in conversation. He also serves as the director of the Springbrook Nature Center Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring that the nature center continues to be a wonderful community resource for years to come. Neal’s strong naturalist sensibility and his many years of selfless contribution make him an invaluable member of the Springbrook Nature Center and Fridley community.
