Thanks to the many Fridley folks who have already provided input on the ongoing Comprehensive Plan (Comp Plan) Update project! In July, City staff spoke with over 100 people at pop‐up events! So far, we have heard that:
People have been enjoying the recent investments in Fridley’s park system
Property maintenance, including diseased trees, is concerning
Local retailers enjoy strong support and provide workforce development
Residents have questions about MnDOT’s planned changes to University Avenue and Highway 65

Community members are invited to join us this fall for a Comp Plan Workshop to help shape the Comprehensive Plan Update. We’re offering the same workshop on multiple dates so you can choose the time that works best for you, no need to attend more than one session on the same topic.
The September Climate and Natural Resources conversations will be held on the evening of Tuesday, September 8, or the morning of Saturday, September 19. Discussions on Housing and Redevelopment are scheduled for the evening of Wednesday, November 18 and the morning of Saturday, November 21. Registration is required at least one week in advance
