Construction begins at Commons Park

Commons Park is being updated as park of the Park System Improvement Plan. This project will take place in two phases:

  • Phase 1 - North end of the park, beginning in April 2025
  • Phase 2 - South end of the park, beginning in July 2025

This schedule allows for the completion of the Fridley Youth Sports Association's baseball season and '49er Days festivities to take place at the park. 

Please note: Sections of the park will be closed during construction.
