The Fridley Police Association is excited to announce a scholarship opportunity for students pursuing degrees in public safety-related fields!
The scholarship is intended for students at a high school located within the City of Fridley who are enrolled/or plan to enroll in a State College, University, Community College, Vocational or Technical Institute. The scholarship is also open to students who are home schooled and reside in the City of Fridley or are currently involved in other volunteer programs through the Fridley Public Safety Department, such as Explorers or Reserves. The academic emphasis of the scholarship is coursework in public safety, such as criminal justice, law enforcement, emergency medical services, community crime prevention and fire protection
Scholarship Amount: One award of $1,000 will be given
Deadline: The Fridley Police Association board will accept applications throughout the year with an application deadline of April 15, 2026. A new scholarship will be awarded by May 2026.
