The feasibility study for the 2026 Street Rehabilitation Project was approved by City Council on October 13, 2025. Hearing notices were mailed today, and property owners should expect to receive them next week. Each notice includes hearing details and an individual preliminary assessment estimate for each affected property. The City Council has scheduled a public hearing which will take place on November 10, 2025 during the Council Meeting at Fridley Civic Campus. Residents in the 2026 project area are encouraged to attend as preliminary assessments will be discussed. On October 2nd, a second Open House was held by project staff. A Q&A session was held before a presentation was given detailing the project specifications, anticipated timeline for the project, as well as information on the assessment process. If you were unable to attend the Open House, the presentation can be viewed here(PDF, 3MB).
The project map below was included with the mailing and identifies both 2026 and 2027 construction areas.

Invitations were recently mailed to residents and property owners within the 2026 Street Rehabilitation Project (ST2026-01) area. The mailing announced an upcoming open house on Thursday, October 2, 2025, during which a presentation will be given on the 2026 project, followed by an opportunity for questions.

Residents and property owners in the area of the proposed street project received an invitation in the mail for the Street Rehabilitation Project ST2026-01 Open House. Within that invitation, there is a survey mentioned where we're asking for resident feedback on some important components to the project.
